Gold Coast Honors General Manager

Congratulations to Wide Span's General Manager Phill Gale who was recently announced as a nominee in the Business category of the Gold Coast Honours Awards.

Wide Span Customer Service Manager Susan Hanscomb said Phill was a deserving nominee.

"Phill has done so much for individuals, charity organisations, the Gold Coast community and the wider community," Ms Hanscomb said.

"He helped those affected by Cyclone Larry. Even though only one of our buildings in the region was damaged due to it not being completely constructed, many hours were spent standing by our clients and letting them debrief about the tragedy of the cyclone.

"Phil has mentored young people to become professional and successful business people.

"He supports local charities and really gets behind those in need.

"We have our fingers crossed - we certainly think he deserves to win!" she said.

The winners will be announced on Wednesday 20 September, 2006.
