Along the riverbanks of the Hunter River in Singleton, New South Wales, this client chose a 2 Bay country style residential garage to compliment their property.
Local Hunter Valley Wide Span Sheds Agent, David and Bronwen Fox site specifically designed and engineered this structure to their exact property location. This double bay garage and storage shed was designed to withstand the harsh New South Wales conditions from their scorching summers and violent storms.
With a 12 degree gable roof pitch, a 7.5 metres span and 3 metre height the client decided to add further unique features to their customized build. With lots of natural light and fresh air flow being high on the client’s priority list, a roof ventilator was added for climate control keeping the structure cool and dry. The client decided to enhance the structure by using industrial strength fibreglass skylight roof sheeting, allowing for the desired flow of natural light.
For additional security and ease of access a key lockset personal access door was added to the side of the building with two motorized roller doors at the front. Manufactured by BlueScope Steel, charming heritage style colours, Manor Red® and Classic Cream® were selected from the COLORBOND® palette for the sheeting of the roof, walls and trim.
Adhering to regional council requirements, submissions were made and approved for the class 10a building by the local Singleton council who were supportive of the development and site specific engineering. This addition adds value to the property and is perfect for housing the couple’s vehicle and outdoor equipment.
