Clifton State High School has upgraded its agricultural facilities with a premium, heavy-duty covered equine arena. The school required a versatile design to deliver an expansive, weather-protected space suitable for both school and community use.
Located in Toowoomba, the project features a massive 1320m² open-air layout designed for maximum clearance and optimal airflow. The fully open steel kit configuration ensures events and training can go ahead rain, hail, or shine, providing a completely unobstructed arena floor. Site-specific engineering utilises robust portal frames with heavy-duty knee and apex bracing to achieve a 22m span without internal columns, while the ZINCALUME® roof features integrated translucent sheets to fill the space with natural light. The finished project delivers a highly functional asset that easily accommodates training, events, and agricultural programs.
