Set in the countryside of Lucindale, South Australia, was the 38th annual South-East Field Days event in Yakka Park. This is one of the major highlights of the year for this region which is defined by extreme wilderness and the iconic Coonawarra and Padthaway wine regions.
A windy weekend didn’t blow away the show goers with approximately 23,000 people coming far and wide across the country to wander around the various exhibitions and pavilions.
Exhibitors were out in force, with one of our top performing Wide Span Sheds agents, Sue from Naracoorte, creating a fantastic rural farming display complete with a portable small steel shed frame!
Handing flyers and custom quotes to many visitors Sue said, "The highlight was having one visitor say: Wide Span Sheds have a really good product and their name is out there."
"It was also outstanding how so many people showed commitment to attending regardless of our blustery South-East weather conditions," Sue added.
Sue was also supported by Jay Higgins, a representative from the national Wide Span Sheds office.
"It was brilliant having Jay in attendance supporting our local field day, shariong his knowledge of the Wide Span Sheds range of products," said Sue.
Jay added, “I have been to many field days throughout Australia and this one didn’t disappoint! There were so many quality local businesses spanning many industries including sheds, sheep, machinery, food and wine straight from the region's local wineries. Whilst being a windy start it was certainly a successful event, I am looking forward to attending the next one.”
